The Black-Owned Headwrap You Need this Spring
After being in a pandemic for over a year, I can finally say that I am ready to get out and finally feel cute again. With Spring finally acting like Spring, I've definitely been looking for ways to elevate my personal style.
In today's blog, I'm sharing one of my favorite black-owned brands, ID NOBLE to show you how I styled their Apricot Headwrap!
I wasn't really into accessories until "accessorizing" became a HUGE thing during "Pandemic Fashion". Some of the things I've fallen in love with over the past year are headwraps and headbands!
Headwraps are a great way to make a personal fashion statement. When I first tried one, I was worried that It would look weird or awkward because everyone else made theirs so neat and trendy. However, I discovered I enjoy coming up with my own unique way of wrapping one.
For this look, I wanted to remain neutral, but fun.
Here's a cute little style tip when it comes to color complimenting. If your main goal is to highlight, what I call the "attraction" color, it's best to complement it with neutrals that aren't as loud. One thing I'm not a fan of is color clashing.....and that's different from color blocking.

I bought this ribbed dress from Zara a few months ago during their winter sale and It went perfectly with my apricot headwrap. To keep the neutral vibe I wore my steve madden nude heels, some gold jewelry, nude lip colors by Lizhan Beauty, and threw on a cropped denim jacket for a little bit of fun!
