It's My Birthday!

For the first time in years , I am actually excited about my birthday! It didn't hit me until last month that I was actually turning 27 today...WOW!

First, I am grateful to God for granting me another day , another hour , and another second to witness this day. He alone gets all the GLORY and PRAISE today and forever. What I am , Who I am , and Where I am going is because of his unending LOVE over my life. I wouldn't be here without him!

For my birthday this year, I wanted to make sure that I did something for ME. I wanted to gift myself one thing that I haven't given myself in years. That "thing" is called LOVE.

For many years now , I've dealt with insecurities that I've masked and it reflected heavily on my life. Time and people has dictated how I looked and valued myself simply because of what I allowed people to say and do to me. I spent years loving others more than I took time to even love myself. This isn't a pitty post , it's me sharing a new Chapter that I am entering in my life and ending the old one titled " Insecurities of an Unloved Soul ".

I decided to step out my comfort zone and do a not so typical looking , styledbykemi , fashion , 70s , vintage style, birthday shoot; you know , because I'm extra like that LOL.

What will 27 bring ?.......

Understanding , Pure Joy , Unexpected Surprises , Wisdom , Growth , Financial Success , Hope , New Beginnings , Amazing Friendships , More Fashion Slay , Less Anxiety , Strength , Blessings upon Blessings , and finally ........ a renewed Self-Love.

This shoot is dedicated to myself and anyone who has felt so little than what God has made them to be. This is for us. I want you to remember that " You are worth celebrating " Always.
